This question has additional details. Close
My daughter is 2 and was peeing on the potty months ago and loved getting stickers for doing it. Now she is not wanting to sit on it anymore. I have a potty book that she loved to read with me but now cries when I try to read it. She also cries sitting on the potty. Help!

try the big girl toilet instead of potty. or just wait. sumtimes you have to take 2 steps back to go 1 step forward.

It sounds like something may have happened to have scared her, or maybe she got hurt, not bad, but enough to make her afraid. When I was a child I saw a scary show(not scary to me now) where when you flushed the potty the hand came out and grabbed you. Thus I was too scared to flush until I was like 8 years old!! See if maybe the seat could have pinched her butt, or legs, and just try to talk to her. Sound like you did a great job starting her out though!!

I would give it a break for a couple of weeks, with the invitation open for her to use the potty or read her book, but no pressure.
